Lol ok Marx, a tripod site, you mean the one that quoted your original point verbatim? You must not have read or studied this in detail. Hitler was no fool and surrounded by some very smart , evil , but smart people. After all they did perfect propaganda.
He knew germany was for the most part a Christian Nation and he couldn't just overnite ban it. He hated Christianity, he actually preferred Japans or even Islams beliefs over Christianity. Evidenced by his Alliance with Japan and Muslims during WWII. You did know muslims and Japanese were fighting alongside him ? He admired their total commitment to the death to The Fatherland. His plan was to slowly and methodically cleanse Germany of christianity\Judeo influence. If he was a Christan as you state why did he invent his occult religion, form for a better name , ''orgy schools' where only blond hair blue eyed men and women were allowed to breed the beginning of the master Race? There is no proof of what you say , that he personaly tithed that is.

I'm sorry but the cases you present don't trump Goebels own words. He was Hitlers most trusted and with him to the end. Question what your being taught in school marx. Don't buy it hook line n sinker. education not Indoctrination

Thanks, graniteman- never got taught this in school. Was brought up in a religious family with a sense of history. He was hooked into crackpots- he used religion to meet his ends- plans to kill off christianity after a century or two are one thing.

He effectively used Christianity, chaplains blessing the troops, the whole 9 yards, God With Us. He wasn't mating folks with japanese or arab folks, but with good germans who were of what religion?

The Belt buckles issued show the beliefs the regime operated under. Expediency? Yep. But in effect, there you go. Hitler was a vegetarian but his countrymen ate what they were brought up on, just like they were led like they were brought up on- the church and a strong leader.

Read about Zionists and Nazi's. Interesting stuff:

Def interesting subject, I always have been interested in how close he came to literally conquering the modern World. If not for his paranoia and refusal to listen to his top Generals he may bery well have accomplished it. Here's a article from the 'Master Race' children of his experiment. They exist and are still around, right here inThe USA.

The article you posted is true. But Hitler planned to exterminate all jews, slav's every race on the continent that did not meet his Nordic trait values.

Pretty interesting article about the kids born of German occupier fathers and blue eyed Nordic mothers. Wow- after the war ended those kids had it hard!

The article http://www.history.ucsb.edu/faculty/...htm#background changed my perspective some. I had heard old guys talking- they fought the soldiers wearing the Got mit uns" buckles. They wondered how church goers could fight for a guy putting Jews in camps and ovens- and how their chaplains could support them. So my background was limited by my sources and my age of understanding...

The article shows the Nazi's controlling the churches and you see the individual fighting against this corruption of values, to one degree or another. Churchmen had it hard.
It is a good read.

This famous quote is from a prominent Pastor of the time:

"Martin Niemöller (1892-1984) was a prominent Protestant pastor who emerged as an outspoken public foe of Adolf Hitler and spent the last seven years of Nazi rule in concentration camps.

Niemöller is perhaps best remembered for the quotation:

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out--
Because I was not a Socialist.

Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out--
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out--
Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me--and there was no one left to speak for me.

The quotation stems from Niemöller's lectures during the early postwar period. Different versions of the quotation exist. These can be attributed to the fact that Niemöller spoke extemporaneously and in a number of settings. Much controversy surrounds the content of the poem as it has been printed in varying forms, referring to diverse groups such as Catholics, Jehovah's Witnesses, Jews, Trade Unionists, or Communists depending upon the version. Nonetheless his point was that Germans--in particular, he believed, the leaders of the Protestant churches--had been complicit through their silence in the Nazi imprisonment, persecution, and murder of millions of people.

Only in 1963, in a West German television interview, did Niemöller acknowledge and make a statement of regret about his own antisemitism (see Gerlach, 2000, p. 47). Nonetheless, Martin Niemöller was one of the earliest Germans to talk publicly about broader complicity in the Holocaust and guilt for what had happened to the Jews. In his book Über die deutsche Schuld, Not und Hoffnung (published in English as Of Guilt and Hope)--which appeared in January 1946--Niemöller wrote: "Thus, whenever I chance to meet a Jew known to me before, then, as a Christian, I cannot but tell him: 'Dear Friend, I stand in front of you, but we can not get together, for there is guilt between us. I have sinned and my people has sinned against thy people and against thyself.'" "

^^Priceless and applies today Brother. Church Leaders had a odd choice try to preserve what they could or stand on principle and be killed. What no one knew, including the clergy, was Hitler had his own plan for everyone not of Nordic traits on the entire continent and was just biding his time. I think it's part of the reason The Church gets slammed so much. You have men of questionable character in some of them, when you look back at the 1st disciples , they knew what was in store for them and still held to their beliefs.
Excellent convo marx. we always get a lil heated but reasonable and always back our talks with articles not hyperbole!
Merry Christmas Brother
