Have started up a new log since my goals have changed. I will be cutting the running right back and I'm under doctors orders that I'm not allowed to do any races or meets until my heart is sorted (have to have a stent fitted, leaky valve).

So I'm basically getting my boney arse back in the gym full time again to build a solid physique, whilst remaining strong and in great aerobic condition. Let's see how it all goes...

Just goes to show you that no matter what obstacles are faced, you're able to move forward in whatever direction you're allowed.

Thanks for the support guys, I'll check out the Dave Tate link. I have one of his podcasts if anyone's interested, it's more to do with the training side of PL'ing but it's still really informative even if that's not what you do.

I'll add in what weights I'm pushing in a week or so, once they're past they 'embarrassingly feeble' stage. And like my other logs I'll add in the odd progress photo every now and then as well ;)

Looking forward to smashing back tonight and hitting all of the big moves ~ definately DL's, rows and chins.

Tomorrow night is probably my last decent run, meeting about 20 people up in the Port Hills for an hour or so of night-time trail running followed by a beer or two. Should be good fun though
