I use this, like Lil Ed said I mix it with water in a cup and drink with a straw. I do it for the mitochondrial and cognitive effects.

I am taking 30 mg via caps first thing in the morning. I primary started taking it for mitochondrial health then read it was used to reduce RBC in dogs and had heard it had similar effects in humans, but found no studies, so I figured I would perform my own research. I stopped using all other RBC controls and only used Methylene Blue. Labs showed about a 5% reduction. I added citrus bergamot and nattokinaise back in to see if there was a compound effect, I did not see any additional reduction. I will do labs again next month to see if there is any change. If not, I will drop the nattokinaise. I am not going to spend money on it, if it is offering no additional benefit. Citrus bergamot at least has a positive impact on LDL.

Been running it 20mg on training days and 10mg on off days. No ill effects. I didn't know about the 5 htp, I was running a sleep gummy that hadv400mgs of that. But, it was a good 6 hours between.

Agreed. I looked into methylene blue after genetic freak mentioned its health benefits. However, as I did more research, I realized it would not be for me, as I've used SSRI meds for my entire adult life... I'm not willing to risk serotonin toxicity.

Of you are taking it. This is used in the lab as a biological stain. LOL.. and of course it will change the color of your pee, I’m more worried about what the long term side effects are. This is one thing I won’t be taking.

quite a few studies out there on it, I will start low dose for a few days and see how it goes before jumping on full blown, I have PLENTY of other issues already but looking for the pos effects I read about here and online in general.
I mean it has to be no more risky for you than alcohol, drugs and fast food on a daily basis.
Will post up on it getting my first dose in this afternoon.

Methylene blue is a medication that treats methemoglobinemia. This is a rare blood condition that affects how red blood cells deliver oxygen throughout your body. A healthcare provider will give you this injection in a hospital or a clinic setting. The brand name of this medication is Provayblue®.

Methylene blue is a safe drug at a therapeutic dose of less than 2 mg/kg; however, when levels are greater than 7 mg/kg, many of the adverse effects it exhibits will occur.[2] Serotonin syndrome has been found to occur when combining serotonergic agents with methylene blue at a dose of 5 mg/kg


It promises many nice things, but not good for kidneys obviously, Serotonin syndrome has already happened to community members. and you must be using the right one... not the kinds intended for commercial or Lab use. staining DNA ......etc etc

Buy Methylene Blue - CAS 61-73-4 and get it checked.... they could be selling you a cheaper version like hydrate for commercial use . so get 3rd party verification.
