So many I see on these drugs, even a couple of non-BB older clients look like walking zombies. Have they lost weight, yes. Do they look better, not really. Honestly they all look like the kind of weight loss you would see after a prolonged illness. Not a healthy one. They look pale, frail and are weaker. The BBs that only use low doses and combine it with androgens, GH, etc. They do very well and know when to trim the dose if they go flat. Most people don't even know what it takes diet wise to build or maintain lean, so they just eat less of an already nutrient deprived diet. Nothing good comes from that.Zoom zoom, and your muscles speed away, that’s why they named it Mazd(a)tide.
I think these drugs are ok for fitness since the diet and exercise are there and lower dosing for the most part.So many I see on these drugs, even a couple of non-BB older clients look like walking zombies. It's like everything else, too much is never good. Not sure if, "as he thinks" is the best approach. GLPs have been around for a while and there is no data to really support worse problems. Having said that, a GLP alone isn't going to solve the problem and if the patient isn't willing to adhere to a supporting diet, exercise and lifestyle change, then it is not worth prescribing.I think these drugs are ok for fitness since the diet and exercise are there and lower dosing for the most part.
But in the normal slug population who still even on it don't exercise or eat right they are in deep trouble.
My nephrologist admits they are great for the kidneys but refuses to put even obese patients on it as he thinks they will cause worse problems late in life.
