I'm new to the world of powerlifting. I have done a lil bit of bodybuilding and a few local bench press competitions. I have decided to go all in and see what can happen. I was in a motorcycle accident 2006 that left me with surgical screws and plates in my left knee and right ankle. I refuse to use that as an excuse!!! This will be an 8 week log to see if I can move these numbers up and bodyweight down to the 242lb range.

Stats:

5'7"
254lbs
Bench: Max 500lbs.1 year ago. Current 455lbs x 2
Deadlift: 605lbs x 2 current
Squats: 545 lbs x 2 current

All numbers are raw.(Belt, Wrist wraps and chalk)

Thanks Bro!!! Hoping to see some real improvements. I never really concentrated on powerlifting so the training is new to me.

I was 254lbs but I want to compete in the 242lb class. I dont have a meet lined up but I would like to be ready in advance. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for following. I did some research and from what I read 1750 RAW total is pretty respectable at 242 class is it not?
