Thanks II! BI has been pushing front squats and I decided to give them a shot. However instead of crossed arms going OLY style. Wrists were getting a beat down today

kudos for you for trying front squats. i think they are a great exercise but they kill my wrists! it is leg day for me today as well, i think. i am going to try and switch up my training to increase strength in my muscles that are lagging and preventing me from getting my 350# dl pull.

NICE. Good to see you're giving them a shot. You will probably want to work on the flexibility by stretching them in a smith machine. They will help your pulls as long as you pull conventional. They'll also work the shit out of your core, lower back, and quads.

Just work on wrist flexibility. You'll find your DL will improve significantly if you put Oly Front Squats into your leg routine.

Thanks BI!! Yeah I felt that in the lower back. How far apart are you standing. I had about 10 inchs apart. Next week I am gonna do 5 back 5 hack and 5 front squats. just 225 on the fronts need to make sure my form is tight.

I'm a narrow stance squatter. I squat shoulder stance or a lil narrower.

In an effort to prep myself and get past a few sticking points I am having I decided to change over to sheiko. 3 days a week. My legs felt super strong today ever squat was deep and form was great. I want to go much higher but I need to follow the program to maximize it.

Crazy bro!!! So you do bench in the beginning of the workout, then hit the big squats then come back and hit bench again, madness!!! Then the big 225 GM's.... Now I don't think I can go out to the tire my back just got spasms reading your log LMAO... This is going to be good!!!!

Brother trust me when I say this "INSANE " it's crazy because deads get mixed in with bench and squats. Not sure yet but it was fun. By the end I was speaking Russian or it was me gasping for air. Lol I invite u buddy

Day 2

Off today. Thank god because I am still dead. Tight as all hell and honestly I havent felt like this in a long time. Russians are crazy I gues and I am just stupid for trying to follow in his program. Love it. Tomorrow is deads and incline bench and then more deads. Lol
