Nice job in here. 5 count paused squats sound brutal, I'm typically in that 2-4sec range. Floor presses are fun...get used to em :)

I normally compete 82.5kg but have done a few in the 90 class when I've signed up late. Between strongwoman and pl I competed 10 times this year. Pure silliness. I walk around at about 85 give or take.

You should have asked if they ever train legs :)

The guy is a pin necked safety officer. Says it all really. Had a run in with him at work today too. Apparently I need safety glasses to stand on a loading dock while a forklift drives around 10-20m away. Coz projectiles. !?

I certainly have a few niggling problems from it. I'm taking as many precautions as I can and I'm focusing heavily on prehab with dry needling, massage, mobility excercises and all that jazz. It's time consuming, painful and expensive. Lol. Thanks for looking out for me tho. I won't be that stupid next year.

Yep, he had successful surgery just yesterday. I feel really bad for that guy, I feel like him - more than any other nationally ranked strongman- has just been fried with injuries.

He openly admits that his crazy year of competition led to his current state, I'm not sure if he's ever thinking of competing again but I really hope he does.

Think I've figured where my shits at with the rpe. Hopefully. Lol. Learning to assess how I feel at the end of the day a bit more and take that into account. Hoping these figures pick up soon coz they're way down on what they could have been had I still been stuck at a desk. Never mind that tho, moving crates is much more fun.

Just use a band for the adductor. Choke it off and swing the leg. Don't need a machine.

Curious, is your program setup to do both DL movements then bench? I know POB has a plan different for each of us.
