Hi, I'm New Here

Hello all, Rottenrogue made me aware of this forum, so I've been lurking for a few days. Lots of good info and advice, BTW. I'm a 39 yr old strongwoman, Highland games athlete, and dabble in powerlifting and Olympic lifting. Have been training in this manner since 2007. I live in Pueblo West, Colorado, with my husband and son, and compete in NAS, NAHA and SAAA events. I am competing at the NAS Master's Nationals this November in Texas. Thanks for your time, and I look forward to learning more from and about the people on the forum.

Thanks everyone! I'm a nice person, won't pick on anyone unless they pick on me first. NAS Masters/Texas Strongest Man is at Harley Davidson of Kingwood, 11/19. Entry says start time is 8 a.m., but I don't know if that is a solid time or not. Would love to see people from Iron Den out there, we need all the spectators we can get!

Welcome to TID, and you can beat on everyone here as much as you want... Well except Mayo since He's cool. BUT Texas rocks too, 1 of the coolest states I've ever been too, well minus the summer time heat, but the people are awesome.

Jack, I'm really excited to visit, it was cheaper to fly there than to NAS Nats in Mississippi, and I've always wanted to go to Texas anyway, so I am sure it will be a great time. If a place has BBQ, good music, cold beer, and cool people, I'm in!
