Unfortunately, there is a LOT more to life than the gym and priorities change as life does. Glad to hear you are in a good place and happy to see you here. I'll be around again so keep popping in when you can.

Alright Alright.

Switching gears a bit here. Yes, I will compete again and no, I cannot train for more than 30 mins at a time these days....been faced with some big life events and truth be told, I'm focusing on some amateur golf tournaments coming up while trying to be the best Dad I can be. So I'm doing a maintenence program which will be as old school as it gets (for now) with maximum flexibility. Also implementing more stretching and yoga when I can squeeze it in.

All my workouts will be with bodyweight and DB's up to 50lbs in my basement and outdoors. It's the only way for me to remain active without losing a shit ton of strength.

Yesterday:

Flat bench
50lb DB's x 25 x 4

Incline DB
50 x 20 x 3

Side arm lateral raises
20 x 15
30 x 10
30 x 10

bent over rear delt DB
20 x 10 x 3

BW pullups
7, 5, 4

Pushups
40 x 4

Tricep kickbacks
20 x 20
30 x 15
30 x 15

Weight: 233.2. Time: 26 minutes.

I know that I'm going to lose weight and strength....but it's the best that I can do for now while the rest of my life is chaotic.

I look at it as your life has a perfection to it now and you are carefully crafting the time
For the exercise component.

This is just the working of an intelligent and long experienced and successful athlete.

It is a great plan brother! You alone know what you can and cannot do.

Keeping your workout as an integral part of your life is a great example to us all!

Thanks man....as I said to you the other day, I'm the happiest that I've ever been which I've never been able to say up until recently.

But grateful as ever to the hand that I've been dealt. The gym will always be there and a part of me.....just not a huge part for the time being but that will shift again once my schedule opens up.

Signed on to update this weekend's workouts and some other stuff but....

I'm shutting this down for a while. I'll kickstart this when the time is right.
