Fat loss; total calories in/out or counting macros?

Perhaps you've been in calorie deficit for too long. Spend a couple of weeks at maintenance or sightly above. Then slowly reduce cals again. This should kick start the fat loss again.

I measure everything I eat. ( dig. Kitchen scale) I started doing that in 2003 because it was the only method that actually shifted my weight. ;)

Same here. I tried countless diets until I started counting and the weight started coming right off. I tried Keto, low fat, etc, and each time I lost a couple lbs of water weight and that was it. Never realized how much I was over eating until I counted my calories.
