I hope this message finds everyone well. Reaching out to the brothers and sisters as I navigate healing from an esophageal rupture. I’m looking for some grounding guidance while aiming to heal asap & make a full recovery.
I appreciate any insights, whether they’re medical, emotional, or practical in nature and welcome any questions. Multiple docs chalked the incident as a fluke occurrence, citing Boerhaave syndrome:
Leading up the big rip, which occurred with the lightest/highly unremarkable regurgitation, my personal life was out of control. Multiple women in the picture, stressed me out and weighed heavy on the conscious...had hiccups like a mfer, sabotaged a number of opportunity. Pathetic, I realize (I'm mortified and should have allowed my mistress and dream girl, who is a prescriber, Rx methocarbamol/baclofen). Otherwise binged for a few weeks in middle school and generally lack what could have lent vulnerability (acid reflux etc). What are the odds (primary care doc could only dig up one such bozo to draw correlation...)?
Family blessed my hospitalization with plenty contraband along the way, don't think I would have faired as well without. TRT continuity was met with great friction from the hospitals, fortunately didn't go without for long (thanks for convenient pre-loads in luggage/vehicle). Leaving with my life, a 6" scar and 4 wounds from the chest tube experience...the stiffness from lying in the hospital bed is behind me as I enjoyed day 1 back in the gym (almost 2 weeks since leaving the hospital). Feels good, man (DMOS ftw) .
I gas quick, in my early estimation, felt as though I had lung access/usage/volume upwards of 75-80%. Feelings this has been the case have persisted for a few weeks now (which makes me nervous, uneasy and impatient). It was around a month ago when my (ex-)fiancé started fucking me during visits (nurses eventually caught onto the habit, damned heart monitoring...). Today, my stamina has increased by a large margin, however it's difficult to convince myself I still lack at least 1/4-1/5 of my breathing capacity. Smooth brain having hard times connecting to uncharted areas of the body...feels like there's a mystery complex of slow healing transpiring within the thoracic.
For certain, dosing all the protein drug stash, BPC157/GHK-cu/TB-500/KPV/etc. Dropped nearly 30lbs on the liquid diet/feeding tube, gained 12-15lbs back so far. Stuck behind the desk for work, as I cannot see the people and go canvassing reliably - probably should push it and get back out there, most however have advised not to push it.... Few weeks out from doc removing the stent holding together the esophagus. Probably could increase the NAC & glutathione and resist urges to smoke a joint...missing anything in the chemical/supplement arena (assuming healing the lung is the looming primary objective)? Anyone have any experience or insights regarding healing from such an injury?
Thank you so much for reading.

So there I was, not being a drinker, enjoying that last drink for the foreseeable future...in before switching up the pain medicine strategy and initiating naltrexone (giving meloxicam an extended holiday). Big mistake.Boerhaave syndrome is a rare, life-threatening condition characterized by a transmural (full-thickness) perforation of the esophagus, typically resulting from a sudden, massive increase in intraluminal pressure, most commonly due to forceful or repeated vomiting.
