I will add that I also Barbell Front Squat on the regular. Never did DBs because mine only go up to 120s. I hurt my rotators and was forced to Front exclusively for about a year. I did become Quad dominant for a period. I remedied it with RDLs and High/Wide Leg Presses. As for growth...my teardrops literally exploded from Fronts and my Upper Leg circumference increased by at least 1".
