Donating Blood while on steroids

A friend of mine said you can actually call the red cross and say you are on TRT, and they will simply draw the blood for you and not use it. Do any of you guys have experience with this? What do you guys do?

I have been on EQ for quite some time and really should get an oil change, but I wouldn't feel right actually donating on heavy gear.

Actually the people who need the blood would love your RBC rich EQ blood.

I donate pretty regularly. They have never had a problem accepting my blood, and I have even received emails saying that my blood was shipped to another state because of an emergency to a specific hospital. Every pint can save up to 3 people.

Technicalities lol....im prescribed TRT so I consider that question more of a grey area because the question mentions "not prescribed by a doctor"

Yes, donate as much as you can. It's good for you. I have high iron due to my diet, damn steaks lol. Donating blood helps!

You can donate blood but what you answer on the question form will determine if they use it or not, but they will still draw from you.
