How in the hell are they judging these physique shows? I'm completely lost now! Thinking about putting the wife in the physique division this year now that they opened it up in Texas, but I have no idea how they are judging this division. Yalls thoughts?

I was just saying to a client (and on another board as well) I have no fucking clue who's dick must me sucked to insure a win in WPD.

In fact they followed EXACTLY what they indicated about WPD. Wouldn't say I agree w/ it, but they did follow the original idea.

FWIW, Karina is a former bodybuilder.

This I think is where the confusion seems to come in...

I am trying to understand the criteria, maybe Sassy can help clear it up. I think they look for:
1. Symmetry
2. Body Composition - should be very low bodyfat, but not extremely low bodyfat. Should not be shredded, veiny and grainy.
3. Open Hand Posing
4. Beauty and Femininity

I suppose its basically, figure but with a little more muscle???

Its kinda silly if you ask me. Only reason there is a physique group now is for the NPC to make more money. I have friends that have done the male physique last year, and both did quite well actually. Both were former bodybuilders. I know my one friend came to the realization that he wasnt going to become pro being a bodybuilder, so he made the switch over to try and become pro through physique. He is still trying. Not as easy as people thought it was going to be. My friend is older, late 30s. The guys they are picking as winners are way younger, and have a model look to their physiques/faces.. I dont care for it. Now these shows are hours longer, not to mention the competitors have to wait longer to get judged. Its not fair to everyone..
