I remember when I first got the 3 plates locked out. Was a triumphant victory and I'm happy for you.

As WW said, most of us don't warm up with 315.....most of the guys here (the ones that give a shit) pull between 450-605 with the occasional 700+ for the pro's/elite.

Congrats fella.

Great advice thanks mate. Won't stop till I get to 5 a side-----in 2 years!!!

Congrats. I'd keep the reps on the warmup sets low also. Like 135x5, 185x5, 225x3, 275x3, then a max set with 315x3, for example. If you're gonna do a higher rep all-out set with a lower weight, do it after you've done your heaviest set. And don't be afraid to rest 3-5 minutes between sets. You might need to rest up to 10 minutes after your last set of deads (or squats on leg day) before moving on to another exercise.

Thanks mate that's really helpful. I'll use that next time I do back

I am pulling 425 for a few reps now, but it wasn't very long ago 315 was about my max. Congrats again, and I like how you are using this thread to motivate yourself.

Do u use straps for that weight

Awesome work man!

And by the way.... 315 is a lot of weight!

It felt like a lot of weight too mate. I tried to put a 2.5 on each side and couldn't get the frigger off the floor!!!!
