Skimmed Milk powder has very little fat, so I add 4 to 5tbs to a pint of "semi" skimmed milk and I've got 45grams of protein minimum in a pint of milk. A box of skimmed milk powder lasts me 2 weeks and costs the same as a 2ltr bottle of milk (dirt dirt cheep with lots of good protein). You can add egg powder to, but that's getting expensive now. This is what my dad did since he was about 20. He used to buy big bags of it from the guy that owns Tropicana really cheep. Then milk and egg protein drinks started to get made in tubs by bodybuilding companies for 5 times the price, so making your own disappeared . . . . . . not by me though :) 45g protein drink for about 60 pence (under a dollar I think).

That's awesome, I don't blame ya for doing that. How is the taste? Do you ever add any other flavor to it at all?

It makes no differents to the taste to me mate (just milk). You could add flaver but thats just junk sugar. Add creatine if you want to also.

If I added flavored, I'd probably do it post workout to get the extra carbs in. Sounds like a pretty good plan though brother.
