that’s extremely unfortunate. California’s economy is massive. that’s going to do a lot of economic damage.

Well gavin the fag newsom issued a statewide order to stay home. Cash me outside how bout dah?

These liberal leaders are only going to make this situation worse. Life has to go on after this clears. And it will clear. They are making very dangerous decisions that are going to effect people for a very long time. Not to mention do you honestly expect people to just stay in their homes lol. You can’t lock people up for leaving their houses. Do they even think before they make these decisions? Shit is going to get crazy.

List where one can get tested in New Jersey. I was asked earlier if i was interested in another facility. So more locations will be added as RNs become available.

The one in yellow is what we are many other facilities are wearing in NY,/NJ. Less the face shield. They give us goggles and surgical mask. not n95 facemask.

the pic with the blue is what you see other countries are giving to its healthcare providers. Just want you to understand the argument of the healthcare workers here are not adequately protected.

Some of the posts in this fucking thread are no different than main stream media. Purely anecdotal. If you're getting information about this virus from any other source than the CDC or WHO, take it lightly.

I'm living life no differently than before all this bullshit started. Trying to get my practice running, going to the gym, stores, etc.

My stocks took a big shit, Im down over $10K right now.

Count yourself lucky IM, that's a relatively small loss. I don't even know how much I'm down because I refuse to look at my account numbers. Just remember, if you haven't sold, you haven't lost a penny, and if you have no intention of using that money in the next 15 years, it's a blip on the screen (I keep telling myself that over and over, LOL)

Cruise ships are already offering its services.

That's actually a great idea. Their industry is presently decimated, but they are set up pretty well to provide such services. So it's a win-win.

I agree with Jin.

The CDC is now saying it is ok to wear surgical mask and/or bandanas as protection. Do you really believe this will provide protection ?

Last resort they say because the care must continue regardless of the lack of supply. Why place the nurses at risk and in harms way because of the lack of supplies.

If your family, daughter, son, wife are healthcare providers. Would you still be comfortable with this idea ?

Yeah great idea, let the only qualified people to take care of the sick use 1800’s protection methods. So then when they are all sick, who is left?

My wife is an oncology nurse manager so all her patients are immune compromised.
I am certain she would show up for work and do life saving treatments for her patients regardless of the availability of supplies.
They will improvise and do what they can.
Im not exactly comfortable with that but I know she will do what she can. I also know that many of her fellow medical workers will do the same.

CDC said the masks will not make much difference, now they say wear it if you want.
I dont see it hurting you wearing a mask but it will not help much either.
