I wasn't doing anything with them, but the last two deadlift sessions caused them to rip ... and that kinda stings a bit. I felt like I shorted myself a rep or two because of it. I don't want to have it happen at the meet during my first or second lift, and have it adversely affect my third lift attempt when I'm going for a PR.Ive got callouses that are older than my son, and they are badges of determination, wouldnt remove them for anything!
That's what I was doing too. They heal pretty quick that way.I usually just rip mine off lol.
