It's been confirmed by court records that he had spinal surgery 1 week before this arrest. So, the police could be telling the truth after all, and, as usual, everyone flipped the **** out before having all the facts.
BREAKING: Freddie Gray Allegedly Had Spine Surgery Just One Week Before Arrest | The Fourth Estate
Although I agree these things are always avoidable through compliance with police, some cops do seriously need to chill out and stop acting like every situation is life and death and that every citizen had an AK-47 strapped to their back. I mean some of these situations when there are 10 cops piled on top of a dude they can chill out a little, he's not gonna be able to do anything. Their is officer safety and then there is just over the top excessive force. And yes I know what the police go through and all of that as I was one about 8 years ago.Don't run from the police and I think you will be ok.
I do agree with that. I would love to see people stop jumping to conclusions with these cases the second a video or report is released though. In 90% or more of the situations, we find out more information later that the videos are taken out of context. We no longer have to process because the media and the public cast judgment the second the video hits the Internet.
I actually interviewed at a couple places to be an officer, but I did not make their cut. They have some very odd requirements in I would have to say, based on others that I bumped into during the interview process, their judgment is pretty off. I ended up in the medical field and never looked back. They couldn't pay me enough to be an officer after all that I know now
Don't be a felon or have smoked cigarettes in the past 6 months and that's pretty much all that's required, after you graduate the academy, if you didn't make the cut I'm concerned for you Schultz lol. The psych test is pretty much questions about how often you have diahrea so I really don't what went wrong for you.
