Hi guys I'm starting a new diet next week and I'm looking to know which is better beef or bufflo I read somewhere that a new reseach shows that buffalo is better than beef is this true?

Sean I wouldn't split hairs like that... Just eat a variety of protein sources and don't worry about which is better.

If it's Bison your looking for then farmers markets often stock them (and water Buffalo,) But for the nutritional content have a look here.....
Bison meat has fewer calories and less cholesterol than chicken, fish or ostrich.
Bison meat is 97% fat free.
Bison meat has 40% more protein than beef.
Eating 5oz of bison, 3-4 times per week can help most people reduce LDL cholesterol 40 to 45% over a 6-month period.

They have bison at most grocery stores and at Costco. I like using it for chili as opposed to regular beef chopped meat, I feel it gives a better flavor and is heartier. I also love me a Bison burger, less fat than most beef burgers, I just love the taste.

I've never seen it at any grocery store and we don't have Costco here. Only sams.
