10" box squats / weak DL

My last ME day we did these and I was about 100lbs. off my max box squat. Will these help weakness in the hole. Also did banded dead lift in wich my hips were rising too fast. Thoughts about correcting this? My dead lift lags behind my squat by about 30-50 lbs.

If you can hit that box with the same technique as a free squat then it should help you out of the hole. I do like pause squats with bands better though.

I like Anderson Squats (bottom up squats) more so.

Hips popping up to fast could happen b/c your shoulders are out in front. I talk about this in my training journal. You shoulders should be behind the bar when you pull conventional.

If you have vids of your form I'd like to see it. Sure would help see what's going on.
