A longer moderate intensity cardio or HIIT training?

Strictly in a hiit vs moderate cardio I always opt for HIIT because of the obvious overall benefits it has over moderate or low intensity cardio. However, both have their purpose and use and I like both.

    Wolf's Log

So a little update. Work has been very productive and I'm making some good progress forward. I'm working towards the point where I can make more money and work less to focus more on my training. Diet has been good and I've been hovering around 190, recomping slowly but steadily. My...

    Most WORTHLESS SUPPLEMENT

Most worthless supplement in the history of supplements is beef protein powder. At least you can placebo off of other stuff, beef protein powder is an insult to life.

    No Deadlift Deadlift Program

The big take away from this article is to get stronger at a compound movement you need to use assistance movements that mimic similar motions. The current stock of powerlifters take a very scientific approach to lifting.

has anyone told their significant other to fuck off because they interfere with...

One thing I've learned is to maintain your status within the relationship from the very first day, if you are the dominant figure in the relationship then you never waiver. I've told plenty of girls to fuck off while dating them when they try to get me to change my habits. Worst relationship I...

    Keto Help

The body does treat fat very differently on a ketogenic diet than on a non ketogenic diet. My doctors didn't believe me when I said that a good portion of my nutrient intake comes from bacon, pork and red meats.

    Wolf's Log

I've been pretty swamped with work as of late, I've been trying to reel things in so I can focus more on training. I'm finishing up a carb load and I am going to get to my conditioning and cardio stuff tonight. Most likely I am just going to go through a short period on the treadmill maybe a...

    Sugar Alcohol and Keto

Short answer is yes and no, it depends what type of sugar alcohol you are ingesting. Obviously something like Sorbitol which is generally more common will not induce such a high insulin response but it does have some caloric impact. Net Carbs Maltitol syrup (intermediate) GI: 53...

    Common...one more rep!!!

Well on the two to three sets that I actually do push to failure, getting the extra reps in, it's because it's important for that particular part of the routine I'm on now. When I started out in bodybuilding I regularly aimed to get an extra rep in, but for powerlifting not so much because it's...

    Wolf's Log

What made me choose westside was my previous experience with it, my speed, endurance, power, strength, everything shot up. I love powerlifting, it makes athletes greater. The conditioning is something I am intelligently slipping in week to week, just enough to create positive adaptions and not...

Militant Fat Loss Tricks: Legal And Illegal Methods

Well since a lot of guys here have used DNP i'm sure they've experienced a lot worst than a dose of yohimbine.

    Wolf's Log

Thanks a lot, I'm going to. Both. How I decide is largely based on my in gym performance. I don't want to add weight to sacrifice net speed of the next lifts in line and I don't want to add volume for the sake of leaving it all in the gym (aside from the 2-3 sets of high reps that I will be...

    Lower back issues while squatting.

It's also a possibility that you could have developed a weakness in other muscles which is causing the posterior chain to over compensate. More specifically the abs, some of the guys I've trained that have had lower back problems but no problem with hamstring flexibility have had an imbalance...

    question for powerlifters

Well excessive sugar intake creates and furthers metabolic syndrome. I have to disagree about low carb dieting not being applicable to powerlifting, a pure ketogenic diet, sure it can't be done successfully, but it can be done with CKD.

    Max Bodyfat to start DNP

I agree, it definitely is equally effective in obese people because of its mode of operation. It creates an inefficiency in the body's energy cycle depending on dose and causes the direct oxidation of fat to compensate. I just think its a better tool for leaner people because as a person leans...

    Max Bodyfat to start DNP

As someone becomes more lean their ability to mobilize and lose fatty stores becomes increasingly harder. DNP is more helpful to the leaner person in that way.
