Welcome to TID, Bubbagump. The appearance so far is that dead is dead regarding ug. The problem you describe is shared by many. A minor part of the problem is that, unlike you, some ug members changed handles when they came here. I haven't noticed any ug members seem unhappy about their new home, stick around, you'll begin to see many people you know.
