Kamala names her VP pick today

Never heard much about him until her VP sweepstakes became front page news. My own pick woulda been Kelly, but having him as a possible VP would lose 1 Democrat in the Senate for the DNC. Still, any time trump said he "took a bullet for democracy," Kelly could've countered with "yeah my US Congresswoman wife took a true head shot back in 2011, I feel your pain."

Now, I'm stuck with Walz, and every time I hear that name, my brain will flash back to Jack Waltz, the movie director who woke up in bed with a bloody horse's head in the first Godfather film .

Kamala did not show herself to be a good campaigner during the 2020 primaries, but maybe she'll have better handlers this time.

I think one of the reasons we have not seen much of her (besides limiting her chances of turning people off by her strange personality) is she is getting massively trained and educated. Trained into staying on the talking points and not going off on her own... which leads to dumb comments and nervous giggles. And educated as she has not shown to be very versed on topics like foreign relations which you can't just fake as a presidential candidate.

Good points! Her problem is she lacks real conviction to moderate viewpoints. She has a natural far left inclination, and that appeals to her California constituents. I noticed when she’s pressed on a question, she makes a word salad that even a vegan won’t eat!

That’s what happens if you don’t believe what you’re saying. Her speeches are written by someone else, and her social media is controlled by democrat communication specialists. They’re not her core beliefs.
@tommyguns2 summed it up best when he mentioned it’s an authenticity issue. The PC (political correctness) police has been running on overdrive since 2021.
