It's my understanding that the Harris campaign will unveil its VP nominee today, and that the list has shrunk down to Shapiro (Gov. of PA) and Walz (Gov. of MN). My money is on Shapiro. The guy has a reputation of being very competent, and won the Gov. of PA by large margins. That means he has a good chance of moving the needle for the Harris campaign for PA, which is a big state, and needed by both candidates.
The fact that he's not a slam dunk is crazy. Apparently, being a Jew is a negative thing for the Dems. When did the party take crazy pills? Jewish voters have been a solid voting block for the Dem party for decades. In any event, I think he gets the nod, because Walz is a complete ding-a-ling. He's presided over MN going down the toilet for years. A complete progressive squish.
