Well... my DL bar is coming tomorrow but I don't know the time. It's saying arrive by end of day. I may wait to pull till after work and for me that would be 11pm. I'm just so hyped I don't think I can pull with the beater bar and then wait till the following week.

The bars are here.... I can't wait to break out the DL bar tomorrow. I opted to wait.

Had a blast today! Got to play with new bar... my DL bar. It's shiny. Bare steel so I'll have to pick up some 3-in-1 oil and a steel brush. Bodyweight was at 263lbs today and the bar moved very well today.

Can't wait to pull heavy next week and I'm also excited to squat heavy next week. Squatting 545lbs in my new lower heeled shoes moved fast and easy. Time to push it a bit more before test week.

For those wondering.... the Rogue DL Bar is a solid bar. Built well, got some whip to it, and digging the knurling. Can't wait to put some weight the bar. And you CAN'T beat the price.

I bought the bare steal bar so it was just $295. Gotta get some 3-in-1 oil and a steel brush for maintenance but that aint to bad.

Had to pick up SS from the airport on Friday so I didn't get to lift that day. For those that don't know, a major highway in my city collapsed due to 3 arsonists so traffic is out of control. Going to and from the airport was over a 3 hour ordeal and should have taken 1 hour tops.

Bodyweight was up b/c of a big cheat meal... 268 but it'll be back down tomorrow (always is the case). Squats moved great today. Getting used to my powerlift 2.0's and I'm confident I'll use them from now on instead of my adipowers.

Trained by myself but soon SS will be training with me and then I can push to new heights... like the good ol days.

Shoulder actually felt good. Took me 2hours to train due to traffic. Part of a major highway was damaged during a fire this past weekend. So, for the next few months is going to be hell. I'm going to have to train earlier so I'm not pressed for time. Hate being rushed....

I'll pull on Thurs and squat on Sat.

Had a good day... can't bitch but I will anyways. Fvcking trainer got in my way while I was pulling and I waiting almost 10min in between my last sets. Ridiculous... but I still managed to hit solid number and I'm tipping the scales at 264.

I almost forgot to mention... I pulled today with my DL bar. Saved my ass b/c I wasn't having a stellar day so it definitely helped me push through and turn this day around. Gotta get used to pulling the slack out of the bar again... it's been a while since I've used a DL bar.

Have an idea to push my pressing...

As most of you know my right shoulder is fvcked up... so, I'm thinking of adding chains to my pressing assisting lifts. I know I do that with CGBP but here's the new idea. Each week I add 5-10lbs in bar weight which is what I've always done. NOW, I'm thinking of adding a chain with bar weight each week so it would 5lb bar weight added + 1 medium chain (on each side) EACH WEEK. This will allow me to really push but also keep my shoulder safe'ish.

I'm thinking of adding chains to my Floor Press too. I won't add them to Double Paused Bench.

One word... WOW! Weighed in at 265 today and my stomach wasn't feeling so good. I had a hamburger and some fries 2 hours before. Wasn't sure that was a good idea and with my stomach turning... I was beginning to think it was a bad idea. I don't think I could have been more wrong.

575 w/ sleeves and a belt... Now, that's a good day considering this is the lightest I've weighed hitting that and I'm confident I could hit 585. Squats are going my way and these new shoes are awesome.

Why are you at 265? Cutting on purpose?

Thanks. I was extremely happy. Gonna celebrate with some sushi tonight with SS.

Yup, I dropped to 265 on purpose. The lightest I've been in over 12 years. I'm going to get back on the platform and I want to compete in a lighter class to be more competitive. I also feel better considering being heavy in the south sucks balls. I have NO plan on walking around any lighter then I am now but I'm contemplating competing at 242 (water drop).

20lb water drop is nuts.

I'm 3 weeks out, weak as fuck, and need to drop 3-4 lbs...
