can't decide what to do!

I bought her a bike. She likes riding with our girls and her bike broke last year. It was a cheap one. So, I sprung for an Electra for her this time.

That said, I made her give up a shift on her birthday so we can do something. A 40th birthday seems like it should be fun and youthful, but not too crazy. OTOH, I can't make up my mind if I want to have a nice, quiet dinner with her, or have a small party somewhere with close friends.

It's coming up in a week! I am running out of time!

My wife invited a bunch of my friends to the casino for dinner and a night out, I was surprised. Hotel room was stocked with beer, snacks and a nice scotch, said it was an upgrade and my dumb ass believed her. Then a nice dinner in a great steakhouse, bill got VERY ugly but it was a great night out.
