Why not sumo style deadlift?

Oddly I can pull sumo without aggravating my adductor. But no matter how wide or narrow I squat it sets it on fire since tearing it in 2013. That sucks for me.

I don't know how you used to squat so wide. That would have killed me.

And it nearly killed him...

I can't pull much weight at all sumo, but I like to incorporate sumo pulls as an accessory on squat/pull days to strengthen my hips.

I did the math and I'm within 1% of average for both measurements but I prefer sumo. Where did you fall with your numbers plugged in Mac?

Agree with all of the above. It's all about leverages and your body. Many incorporate both styles into their training but will always have one stronger then the other. I know Jim Wendler only pulls conventional and does not include sumo in his training. I would say experiment with both, it shouldn't be to hard to tell what feels right for your body.

Me too, I like watching Sumo.

They just aired the Championships about a month back. Was really good.

Yeah. It tends to really stress my inner knees.
