Hey everyone! A handful of you guys know me from back in the day at various boards.
Brief intro: Joined my first gym in 1990 (12) and lifting weight has been a part of my life ever since. Its served as a basis to whatever sport or goal I was interested in. Did the bodybuilding style of training for many years till about 10 years ago when I started powerlifting training. The past 7 years i've been a competitive powerlifter and i've competed in geared and raw. I blew my knee and quad pretty good back in 08 and powerlifting helped me have a goal to push through rehab. Nowadays competing just puts purpose to the training but i'm really just an old rickety ass guy now just trying to stay relevant with the young bucks in the gym. I help coach lifters of all experiences, and i've also had the pleasure to coach and train with a 4 time all time WR holder in the bench press (geared). My new thing as of late is getting back to my roots of martial arts and i've started up in Jiu Jitsu, which really is about the hardest damn thing to do as a powerlifter.
Anyways, I hope I can learn some new things here and pass on some stuff as well in the process. Glad to see a forum like this again, its been quite awhile since i've actually hung out on one.
