How about a "no mans land" area where if they catch you going over or under the wire they shoot like they did in East Berlin?..

This isn't about "workers" bro, not sure where you even came up with that thought, do you see the cities like San Diego or New York?
These people are not coming over for jobs nor are they brought here by business owners looking for cheap labor, It is my opinion that you may be misinformed about this,

I have heard this theory. It is greatly exaggerated. I also hear from Trump supporters that the immigrants and taking their jobs and in the same breath they say they are not working.

I drive through the country (central Florida) all the time to visit my friend (a hardcore Trumpie). Along the way I see latino immigrants working in fields in the 98F heat 12 to 14 hours a day for half of what minimum wage pays. These people are the reason a watermelon does not cost you $30. Put a fat lazy American in that field?

These are the hardest working people in the country.

Whether they should be here or not is a subjective question, sure. But these people are coming here to earn.

By the way, it is the Unites States that is causing most of the political turmoil in the world. US meddling causes the problems that drive people here. But everybody in both parties is ok with this. Get the CIA out of these countries and let these countries figure out there own equilibrium. But the US is constant overthrowing governments, bribing, threatening, assassinating. It never ends. This is the reason we have these caravans.

Personally, I could care less if the Trumpies want their wall. But it is a worthless idea. And no, no leader is going to authorize gunning down women and children.

The wall worked then, and it will work even better as it is more complete. Can you make illegal crossings go to zero? I don't think so. But you funnel the people into smaller areas that can be properly monitored. And when it's harder to do, less people do it, and we'll have sufficient resources to "process" those who are detained. Nobody should be released into the country with a hearing date 48 months from now. That's a joke.

Finish as much of the wall that's practical. Increase border patrol resources. Double the number of immigration hearing judges to process all the asylum claims. Tighten up the rules on what/who constitutes someone seeking asylum. Make the e-worker system easier to use so that compliance increases. Increase penalities on employers for breaking the rules.

An "all of the above" approach will improve things.

What central Florida are you driving through? I live here. Most of the illegals work construction IF they work at all. But the majority just live 15 to a house, don’t learn English no matter how long they’re here, and have too many kids that the govt pays for and the hood raises.

You trying to make believe that central Florida is full of watermelon fields and hard working Mexicans, lol, rather than theme parks and urban development as far as the eye can see.

Also, every great watermelon stand in Florida is run by a black guy with an old truck and massive hands.

1935 Sinclair Lewis: “ When fascism arrives in America, it will be clothed in a flag and carrying a bible”.

Not to shabby with the prediction.

Obviously I was joshing about the no mans land, but perhaps you could look at the rest of the country as a whole rather than one state and obviously there are different views as to what is happening there as previously posted.
You think we had 10-20 MILLION jobs available before Kamala and Joe opened the border?
Hardest workers in the country? Not how I see it.
You MUST realize that you (if you pay taxes) have a liability to pay for all of this craziness and have already been paying for it, which of the Dems win is only the beginning of our financial misfortune.
The Dems have very poor financial policies and that is proven over the past 4 years I busted my body and ASS for most of my life to make our little fortune and frankly I would like to keep it.
Cheers

The one thing I keep hearing folks talk about around here until I bring this up is prices.

Yeah but when Trump was President gas was 2 bucks a gallon .. and and groceries were cheaper

Well sure they were , COVID remember ?

People were locked in , locked down , out of work , home schooling.

Prices dropped to bait people into shopping so the business owners could still pay their bills.

What should of pissed every one off is the one thing no one talks about ... when those prices dropped .. and gas was 2 bucks a gallon. What was cut off .. was all profit.

That shows you how much these companies are price gouging and fucking with us as consumers. Then they blamed "supply chain" remember that ? that was just another excuse for them to jack up prices after Covid then keep them high as fuck and blame , inflation ... the whole thing is fucking sinister.

The news cycle spins so fucking fast and common sense is such a rare commodity that folks don't have time to put all the pieces together.

When I was a kid after watching all kinds of WW1 an WW2 movies , reading books. I thought every country actually had one haahahaaha. I was kind of let down to find out we didn't to be honest at the tender age of 10 or so.

What I find most appealing about Kamala Harris is simply this: She is not Donald Trump. If the Presidential race was between Donald Trump and Satan, I would choose Satan.

Watermelons were just an example.

I drive from Sarasota due east over by Sebring. My Trumpie friend employees illegals. The irony is incredible.
