It was everywhere except my face and back in between my biceps and forearm inner thighs under the pecs underarms etc anywhere. I had to use fungal creams for weeks to get rid of it

I’ve had that before, years ago. I used to put Talc powder on it and cleared it up in a day or two. And would just have to use it when I was sweating more. However, now, I Switched laundry detergent, and also body wash. Now I use a Tea Tree and peppermint body wash that is natural and I have no issues. All of our skin issues really boil down to the crap products we use.
