I always wanted to try geared lifting it looks fun as all hell but we live in the middle of the asshole of nowhere , I lift alone so im kind of blown out on that
Oh I train alone as well, Everything I use is loose enough that I can get in and out on my own. My hips knees and elbows just need the support. I am mainly using the gear to save pain, and give me confidence. I get very little carryover and I’m not relying on it for pounds. I got to admit a little jealousy of some of the skinny guys that can get hundreds of pounds from gear.

No pressing today. This back knot thing is effecting my external rotation and I really need it to calm the fuck down.

No training due to a medical procedure.

Had a rough night after turning down painkillers yesterday’s fun and games. I assured the doctor that I’d be fine. How bad can it be? Sometime overnight I regretted that.
Anyway I wanted to squat today but I was kind of psyching myself out overnight and concerned about popping stitches Nobody told me that I couldn’t or shouldn’t but it’s not like I asked.
felt a little better this morning so I decided that I would just work up to a decent single and leave grinding reps for a latter day.
