Kind of appropriate for Thanksgiving.....I shot my first turkey a couple of days ago....AWESOME.....except that it scared the shit out of all the people in the frozen food section....
When I used to deer hunt in michigan, the damn turkeys would crash land from out of the trees in the morning as the sun was coming up. It scared the hell out of me the first time.

killed and ate my share of wild turkeys from north ca,hunboldt co. they would walk down the drive way (dirt road) and peck and eat the acorns from the oak tress,...hell they would come up to the porch and peck at the cat food......ha...ha...ha....i fry em up like chicken......
