Reta basics, need general advice

Yes. I have two clients who had drinking issues. I recommended reta and they both been sober since.

I've been on reta a few months now, and I'm finally noticing it's effects. It took me getting up to 5mg a week for it to do anything for me.

I know I'm probably an outlier in that regard. I also had a history of using tirzepatide for about a year prior, but had been off 2-3mos when I started reta. I think that probably had something to do with it taking more to work for me also.

The GLP's are being studied for the reduction in addictive behaviors. I always said, they were anti-addiction medications just based on their mechanism of action. They were just being used in food addiction. Now they are finding they help with drugs, alcohol, porn, etc...

You guys aren’t gonna believe this. He got his Reta yesterday and I mixed it for him (he’d never mixed a peptide before). I mixed it so .10ml would be equal to 1mg of Reta. I even gave him some small .3cc insulin syringes and showed him to go to the .05 on the syringe.

He calls me this morning freaking out. He went and used a full cc syringe that he already had and filled it half full… so he took 5mg of Reta in his first shot…

You can't fix stupid. If he couldn't remember what you told him, he should have simply waited a few hours to ask you again. Why should he be "freaking out," he didn't care enough to double check in the first place.

He’s probably going to pay the porcelain gods this week. But thankfully it was Retatrutide and not semaglutide. It could be much much worse. May wanna tell him to invest in some ultra soft TP, and some electrolyte drinks because he’s going to be machine gun shitting liquid booms most likely

Could be worse. Had a friend inject his wife with 2 mg of MT2 her first time trying it. I had explained everything and even showed him a screen shot of peptide calculator how much to use. She was sick for like 12 hours; nausea was so bad she just puked and shit herself in the bathtub. She couldn't even move to the toilet. Of course, he called me freaking out. Told him just to ride it out, she would be fine as long as she doesn't dehydrate. I don't think she ever pinned it again.
