I've decided to start a training log here, a member informed me of the site.

This year I'll be making the switch from raw powerlifting to geared (equipped) lifting and I can't wait.

I'll update my training sessions from this week so far later today.

Daz, looking forward to following your log. I too made the switch from raw to equiped powerlifting 12 years ago when shirts and suits were going mainstream.

Bench
Foam Roller used for arch
2 x 8 - 60kg
1 x 8 - 80kg
Took away roller
1 x 5 - 100kg
1 x 1 - 110kg
1 x 3 - 115kg - First 2 reps flew up, on 3rd my groove derailed and was tough so dropped weight after.
3 x 3 - 110kg

CG Bench
1 x 10 - 60kg
1 x 10 - 80kg
2 x 10 - 85kg

Inverted Rows
4 x 15 - BW

DB Front Raises
1 x 10 - 10kg's
4 x 10 - 15's

Cable Rope Facepulls
4 x 15 - Stack 11

Cable Rope Pushdowns
1 x 15 - Stack 11
3 x 15 - Stack 12

Had a good session on Tuesday.

My weight is a bit on the heavy side from the Christmas break. Should be back down to 114kgish by Monday next week.

That's all I did 2nite. First few sets went good then they got tough. In fact the 8th set was probably my best, I stayed real tight and got aggressive under the bar.

Good session this evening. Really feel my upper strength is coming back nicely.

Saturday - 07/01/2012 TESTING

Tested my squat today after the Squat cycle I've been doing ended during the week.

Squats
2 x 8 - 60
2 x 5 - 100
1 x 3 - 120
1 x 1 - 140
Added Belt
1 x 1 - 160
1 x 1 - 180
Added Knee Wraps
1 x 1 - 190
1 x 1 - 200
1 x 1 - 210
1 x 1 - 220 PR

Then just worked up to a 200kg deadlift, I haven't pulled anything heavier than 160kg since the GPC Worlds and my mid-back was sore from squatting.

Can't wait to get back to pulling heavy again.
