Totally gay. Haven't been in the gym for two weeks...

Back today though. And it felt great. My elbow is still very painful, but at least now I know I can press as well as squat without bothering it. No pulling. Draping weight from my arms in any way is just not possible.

That felt awesome!!!! Was great to be back... Hips wasn't with me as she is still sick with Pneumonia. Sounds like she is drowning. Its pretty gross.

That's crazy that pressing doesn't bother your elbow. Are you sure it's not radiating from somewhere else? I know when I had a severe pull in my brachioradialus (sp?) I could press and squat but couldn't pull a thing and it wasn't just deads. I couldn't do bent over rows, db rows, etc.

Yes only because the spot that hurts like hell is also sore to the touch. I'm pretty confident since my chiro and my PCP both agree.

Wanted to mix things up a bit today for squats... did some oly back squats. Its amazing how different that is from my box squat. I'm cramping up real bad in my thighs... So bad that as I sit here on this toilet typing, I'm afraid I'm gonna have to call MW to come wipe me and help me up.

I don't know why you'd want to do some Oly back squats. I started out doing Oly back squats and I'd never go back to them. They'll def work different muscles, that's for sure.

Just for fun I guess. My quads are trashed which is unusual, particularly the medialus. I tried to go up stairs at home and had to go one step at a time lol

oly squats? :eek:

they are fun but i figure you would go more for front squats than high bar bar squats. still nn ice solid weight for the transition

See that's empirical evidence showing ya that PLing squats hit the back moreso and Oly squats hit the front. Just don't make a habit out of it b/c they will tear up your knees.
