Not sure I understand Trump's movement in the polls

Trump's strategy is clear.. Create a sense of inevitability that his victory is obvious. So when he loses the election his supporters are primed for conspiracy theories and more stop the steal nonsense.

Listening this morning to Sagaar Engeti, a conservative pundit, he notes that the arrogance of inevitability among Trump supporters is reaching huge proportions. Trump is pushing this sense inevitability so the letdown of a loss will throw his supporters into rage.
