The barbell one looks hokey, the super plain ones are just that (plain), and the others are a bit too busy. The green one is the best option. I'm not in advertising and marketing, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.

The green design, while not the same color scheme that we are all used to, is IMO, by far the most professional and visually sharp logo.
