My wife wants some advise from you gals...I think her hormone levels are way jacked up. I won't go into symptoms, but personally, I feel very sure she has estrogen dominance.
After going too long ignoring this I also think this imbalance in estrogen may have lead to adrenal fatigue and now even her thyroid seems exhausted. I know this is a "Chicken or the egg" sort of situation so we're not looking for diagnosis...
Liddy and I are wondering if she should go to her internist and (IMO) run the risk of having her levels not really studied or (since her insurance covers a specialist without a referal) just head directly to an endo?
I know this is a strange question, and I've been telling her to go to an endo, but I think she needs another females feedback...
Thanks ladies...oh, and I've got plenty of T3 in the event she flakes out on getting this bloodwork done. She'll put the doctor off for months, if not years, sometimes. I figured if she does pull that I can at least try her on a low dose of Cytomel cause her metabolism has slown to almost nothing.
Respect gals.....
