More of a Reintroduction

Howdy all,

It's been brought to my attention that my introduction post from when I joined in 2012 is no longer around, so posting a new one.

Haven't been on the forum much since the early to mid 2010s, but hoping to be around a bit more regularly going forward.

As far as things goes, I'm just a dude who loves to train. Taking a more bodybuilding approach over the last year or two after a decade of competitive powerlifting. Served in the Army for a little while (was still AD when I joined the forum, actually).

I'm in my mid-30s and currently sitting at 5'9", 185ish pounds and hovering somewhere between 11-13% body fat.

Have a training log on another forum where I'm a bit more active, and might move one over here if anyone's interested in following along.

Saw your other post about the vbulletin days, that mighta affected me too, can't remember. I got here after you, back in 2013, been a lot of changes since then. Owner/Admin changed when Mugzy sold this board to then-Moderator Lizard King soon after. Most of the Mods then are still Mods today. There used to be another board called UGBB with some common members. The biggest recent change is that board disappeared, and many of its members came here.

I too miss seeing some of the originals here like you said. Some of them are still here, just less active, but they reappear occasionally. Others are gone but can be seen in some older threads.

I agree w/your post in the other thread about young people considering steroid use may regret it later when their priorities have changed, btw.

Good to see you hopping back on man. Always good to see another vet here also. Man, I miss those days that you and @rawdeal mentioned. Had such a tight knit group of amazing people. I miss the hell out of TG, Tightglutes, She was so awesome. I had no idea that she had passed away years ago when I first came back on. Miss a lot of people from back then. Graniteman, Raiden, NavyChief, POB but he and I still talk every day. RR is still around and hops in from time to time. Halo as well, but he and I still talk. Hawkeye is still on here and there and we talk. Man the list could go on and on. Glad you came back brother and hope you're enjoying that freedom from service, I know I am. I miss it but very glad to be out.

More vets around than I expected! Definitely get missing it sometimes, but my back and knees are glad to be done with that part of my life lol.

Gonna have to get reacclimated to the Den and start following along in some training logs again to feed off the energy of the group of folks that have always called this place home.

If I throw one together for my own training, will link it in here for anyone that cares to watch somebody get more jacked for absolutely no good reason at all.

haha I hear that bro. You should man. We have a log section on here. I just recently started back in mine but haven't updated in a few. I will have to start doing so. I love the logs. We used to have them super active. MLGA - make logs great again.
