If you don't know who Misha Koklyaev is, I'd argue he's the greatest all around strength athlete of our time. He's quite the accomplished PLer, 7x Russian National Champ Olympic Weightlifting, Highland Games WR Holder, WSM competitor, etc. The guy excels in every strength sport.

Yeah I remember Misha Koklyaev almost beating Shaw and Zydrunas in 2010. Dude is a ****in monster!

While yes he is a beast he hardly came close to shaw and big z. 51.5 for the top two z won On count backs. Misha Koklyaev had 46 points.

He has some great you tube videos out there of some of his lifts and just funny shit during training. He recently tried out for the russian oly team and didnt make it. Was open about not being able to perform at that level while not on gear.

You can tell he did some oly lifting in his day by his a2g squat and the way he began his deadlift.... Very close grip benchpress too!

Yep, Misha Koklyaev is a true strength showman. You can tell he loves what he does.

Not knocking him at all, because he is a beast, but this is at SHW right? Because the last WSM I saw him in he weighed 358lbs and looked about the same as he did here. Hell, there are guys like Eric Lillebridge who are 10 years younger, 75lbs lighter, and total slightly higher than this.

That being said, I love watching him lift, he's a monster. Have you seen the deadlift video of him pulling 800 for 10 with straps?

I agree with SAD though, that if not now, Eric soon will be better than Misha.... Erne Sr. and Jr too, LOL... that whole family could be a zoo exhibit. Great guys too.
