First ratio came from research paper. A pharm in Germany claims 60/40 c8/C10

812 appears to just be a ratio of c8/C10
840 is c8/C10 unknown ratio at this moment mixed with Propylene Glycol Dicaprylocaprate

My problem with food grade oils is how do you get rid of the contamination in them ? I am sure they contain endo toxins and other fine matter particulates from processing.

Good question I don't have an answer. Only thing I can say is oral MCT oil dampens the effect of endotoxins. How fine particulates?

I always pre-filtered my oils the filters would be pretty dark at the end of the process. Except for castor oil it had to be pressure cooked.
