Riley County Police say a series of search warrants uncovered a marijuana growing and steroid manufacturing operation.
Detectives searched three locations Wednesday in Manhattan. They were 1521 Leavenworth St., Apt. 5; 309 Kearney St.; and a storage unit at 425 McCall Road.
Police say they seized around 14 pounds of marijuana, a half-pound of methamphetamine, more than 2,000 prescription pills, five firearms, two vehicles and more than $50,000 cash.
Authorities say the total value of everything found was $171,600.
Four people were arrested:
-Grant Hamel is being held on $200,000 bond for possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of Xanax with intent to distribute, possession of OxyContin with intent to distribute, possession of amphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of felony drug paraphernalia, possession of Vyvanse and criminal use of a weapon.
-Katherine Nguyen is being held on $80,000 bond for possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of Xanax with intent to distribute, possession of OxyContin with intent to distribute, possession of amphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of felony drug paraphernalia, possession of Vyvanse and criminal use of a weapon.
-Tyler Trouete is being held on $80,000 bond for possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of Xanax with intent to distribute, possession of Vyvanse with intent to distribute, possession of felony drug paraphernalia and criminal use of a weapon.
-and Taylor Beck has bond set at $80,000 on charges of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of Xanax with intent to distribute, possession of Vyvanse with intent to distribute, possession of felony drug paraphernalia and criminal use of a weapon.
