loose bone fragment in knee

Anybody here ever have this and if so how was the recovery from surgery? Just waiting to see thr sports dr next week and curious what Im in for

Sounds like bad news but hopefully it can be removed by arthroscopy if the fragment isn't all that large. Have you ever broken a bone in your leg?

No, no broken bones anywhere actually, I have been blessed. I am pretty sure it is related to a wrenching, snapping thing that happened last week (just walking along and it happened), I am fairly certain it is where a part of a tendon pulled loose off the bone (pics I found have it positioned like a biceps femoris tendon, my xray looked just like the ones I found). My inner thigh (yes, gracilis) is knotted up something fierce and most pain isn't even in my knee, it is in the leg muscles. Sitting is painful, driving is the worst...I can walk, but my gait is kinda messed up...so have to wait and see what he says...

but, I am not a dr and xrays don't tell the whole story
