Time to change up my routine...I want to spend the next 3-4 months working on building more strength and mass so I'm looking for some new workout ideas....Over the years I've been in several different modes from bodybuilder workouts, to PL, to Military endurance, and even what I would call a maintained TRT workout regiment.....Now I really want to pack on some pounds but not get sloppy and get really strong....

Thinking I could go with DC again or 5x5's maybe....lots of compound movements or a few other ideas.

Ohhhhh Strong(wo)man exercises... Yeah I think I'll give 5/3/1 a go found the book and seems relatively simple to do. Heard about it countless times, but never looked into it until now. Thank you.

I was feeling the same way, needed a change but wanted something radically different. Decided on the Extended (modified) German Volume Training program. Its only been 11-12 days since I've started so a little early to post any measureable results yet but I'm really starting to get into it. It was a little hard at first since I'm used to doing 8-12 reps per set and training as heavy as I can in that rep range, so doing 10 sets of 5 reps was a bit of a challenge especially for the first 4-5 sets, you don't feel like your training hard or heavy enough but by the time I get to 8-10 sets, I'm struggling.

If done properly, they say you can put on 8-10lbs of muscle while at the same time dropping bodyfat in 6 weeks. I'll keep ya posted on results as we go.
