Well, it's a shame. In person, the guy seemed really nice. Yeah, he did/does some really weird shit, but whenever I saw him in interviews and signings, he was always so cool and about the fans.

That said, I think Kai just has to be tired. Tired of the work with little recognition. Tired of all the bad publicity. Maybe even just tired of the bodybuilding game. Hope he gets his shit straightened out and the guy can finally be happy.

if bodybuilding was just about how big you can get then sure he should win. but it's not.

He's focused on supplements. Kai had big plans to launch Dynamik in conjunction with the Olympia. His agent demanded a free title sponsorship, a 20x20 booth space and no union load-in fees. Olympia reps countered by demanding that he fork over sponsorship money like everyone else. They had a Mexican standoff. No one budged. Can't think of a worse way to launch a supplement line than being left outside the arena at the biggest bodybuilding show of the year especially after dieting and gearing up for months. AMI now set to completely pull the plug on him and pressuring the other mags to do the same to sabotage his line and push him over the edge. These products have an expiration date. Tick tock goes the clock.

The way Pro Bodybuilding is really being ran, behind the scenes.. One could easily assume it is more politics than anything. Kai, should just go the Rich Piana route and leave the sport behind, since they have been against him from the start. He could get a huge youtube channel going, get sponsors to support him, while he builds up his channel and own supplement line. Spill the beans on the whole Olympia and IFBB crap.
