Been at it for 6 mnths since having 2 neck surgeries in 6 yrs and 1 yr of pt. One question should I change my DL to back day or keep it on leg day

Welcome..... Experiment! Leg day always worked best for me, but we're all quite different.

I would agree with PoB.... Just make sure it's being done. Either day works. Since you said leg or back day, I'm going to assume you're a bber so I would say back day and squat on your leg day.

Not bber I've always liked and lifted more towards powerlifting like being strong af at least working on it
