Hi everybody, I'm Sam. I've lifted not so seriously since high school but got a lot more dedicated while I was in the military and kept going strong until I injured my shoulder about a year ago. I tore some ligaments in my AC joint (where the clavicle meets the shoulder blade). That was last September so I was completely out of the gym until May of this year. I took it easy for some time and just started hitting it hard again in August. I think I had a mental block for a time, always had the injury in the back of my mind. My shoulder is feeling good now and I'm just working to get my strength back. My current plan is the basic 5/3/1 program, 5 lifting days a week. I'm giving my main lifts (bench, squat, OHP, deadlift) a day each Mon-Thurs and lifting Biceps/Triceps on Friday.

6'3" at 190lbs

Current 1RM
Bench: 275
Squat: 345
OHP: 155
Deadlift: 425

Welcome....

Make sure you're doing shoulder prehab/rehab to keep your shoulder girdle healthy.

Prehab/warmup has been one of the biggest changes I've made since the injury. I was definitely overlooking it before and I ended up paying for it.
