hello gents, im very glad to make your acquaintance! my name is dean, but i go by oldschool, as per my lifting habits.pillarofbalance invited me to join your site,hope you don't hold that against him! i hope to share my 30 years lifting experience with you guys as well as get as much info as I can! it is always an honor to be amongst my fellow lifters!

welcome oldschool. i have only been here a week but it feels like forever! in a good way. great people here and more than a ton of knowledge.

looks like 30 more years worth of knowledge now!

thank you guys for your warm reception! i look forward to sharing our ideas and thoughts ! sorry for my blunt introduction, please let me proceed:

age 44, been lifting on and off for the last 30 years. Im not really into 1 rep maxes, but i can tell you , my personal bests are,squat- 5 sets of 5 reps @ 505 lbs, bench-4x5@ 315 1@ 365. barbell rows-5x5 @365. deadlift 5x5 @505 LBS. all standard 5x5 protocol, my best lifts to date, i tore my acl and meniscus while I was on my 5x5, not at the gym mind you, at work about 5 years ago. I will never give up, I will get my stats back where I left off, if it takes me forever, because this is what we do. Again, thank you for welcoming me and a special shout to Pillarofbalance!

welcome bro...im oldschool myself,,,,ive been lifting as long as u...im 46 and still going...my basic protocal is 3x3 and 5 x 5....my cup of tea is power and strenght ...
U will see here at the den that we hav many power/strenght lifters here..Which makes it very interesting then most boards...so anyway welcome again...dw
