Nice work today. If you use a high box for the box squats, you can usually go a bit heavier. Feel free next time if you feel like pushing it.

I will go up on the next speed day - I went with 60% of my max this time and it felt good. Definitely burned out by the last box squat set. Then those dreaded fronts were murder...

Everything is fried. If it helped push weight, it's deep-fried. Even felt my legs' soreness while benching, thing means my leg drive was on point tonight.

Another one of those nights I had to force myself to the gym. Story time for my kids gets me so sleepy! I like speed bench days though, so that helped me get on the truck and on the road.

Wifey royally fucked our dinner up tonight - injecting moldy spaghetti sauce into the Italian meatloaf. Had to toss the whole thing out! Now I'm stuck in dinner limbo. Even went to grab something on the way out of the gym and realized my wallet is at home. What did I do to deserve this, Food Gods?!!

Work is slowing down so my progress with the weights shall be grand, but pockets will be lighter. Just in time for the holidays! Bleh...

Almost hit a pedestrian who came outta the woods onto the street. He was wearing stone-washed jeans... should've hit that dickface.

I end up wanting to go to sleep my damn self. On max effort days I need to start having my better half handle the stories!

Was yawning on the way home from work, on the way to the gym, in the gym... Nightmare of a max effort day. Couldn't find my lifting straps so went at the deads without em and failed miserably. Couldn't keep my damn hands from being sweaty. No chalk allowed in my gay-ass gym either. I asked a fellow member beside me who was pulling 495 for reps and he told me that's why he has his straps... He asked management and they said no chalk. Fuck!

So 405 went up easy, 480 for a PR wouldn't get past three inches til my fingers slipped and I dropped the shit. I tried it more than once, then went down to 405 so I could rep that for a PR or something... And my hands slipped off that dumb shit as well.

The extra work at the end of my atrocious pulling session was just to punish myself for shitting the bed.

One good thing - I am really tired.
So who here wants to convince me this wasn't a terrible waste of time? Anyone? Bleh.

Gabapentin, The Walking Dead and sleep like a boss tonight. Couple days off from the iron and back at it on Saturday.

Rough go at it... There is some shit that you spray on your hands that works like chalk minus the chalk residue. Can't remember the name. Maybe someone else does. You need to ditch those straps.
